Philipson Abadi is a mediation and advisory partnership for engineering organizations.

Gavrie Philipson and Moria Abadi each bring 25+ years of hands-on experience in engineering leadership and architecture — and still write code themselves — across distributed systems, ML, storage, embedded software, verification and biotech.

They have also led teams through major transitions, and they know what those changes ask of the people living through them.

They met as colleagues before they became a practice. They’ve been in the same building, working on the same problems. That history is part of why this works: they know how the other thinks, and they’ve already tested that combination under pressure.

They work both halves: staying credible in the technical conversation and recognizing what is shaping it underneath the surface.

Engineers can tell within ten minutes whether someone is following the work. They are — and they also see what’s driving it.
